Donations Desperately Needed
May, 1, 2008
More than likely, you're looking at this page because you have a special place in your heart for bullies. You're either a potential adopter looking for dogs, a foster parent or volunteer checking out what's new or someone just interested in learning more about these great dogs. Whichever group you're in, or perhaps one of your own, we're glad you are here, as it's people like you who keep rescues like Ring Dog in operation.
Ring Dog Rescue prides itself on the follow-up care we provide to our dogs. Over the years, we've performed countless check-ins, assisted with post-adoption medical procedures as we had resources and have even seized several dogs from conditions which did not meet those agreed to in the adoption agreement. Our goal is not just to place dogs in homes and shuffle as many dogs through the homes of our fosters as possible. Our goal is to place dogs in healthy, happy homes with meaningful and productive relationships with all members of the new family.
Right now, in addition to all of the routine medical care, feeding, etc. for the dozens of dogs in our care, we have three dogs in need of medical procedures totaling several thousand dollars. Two of these dogs were adopted from Ring Dog Rescue and the third is with a foster home. Funds to pay for medical procedures such as these come from nowhere other than the donations of the public or proceeds made from an event or the sale of our t-shirts. It goes without saying that we are in desperate need of donations from the public to help care for these dogs.
Even if you can't foster, if you can't volunteer, you can still help with a donation using the button, below. Ring Dog Rescue is a certified 501(c)3 organization and your entire donation will go to the care of these dogs, plus, you will receive a thank you note you can use for tax deduction purposes. If you'd rather not donate, you can also support us by buying our t-shirts, which can be found at our adoption events or online at www.beggarsbones.com.
Whether you donate or not, our thanks for visiting and helping support the bully cause.
